BDSI plans to manage this process through a couple different methods:

  • Using legacy equipment sensors, the BDSI team will set up and train the customer on the BDSI CBM program using our proprietary hardware and software tools.  Once the program is in place, the customer will take over all monitoring and execution of the CBM program for an initial installation fee and a monthly service fee.
  • Using legacy equipment sensors, the BDSI team will develop a customized CBM plan for the customer and will offer a tiered service plan to monitor the customer’s equipment.  This plan will include an installation fee as well as a monthly subscription fee to provide ongoing monitoring and alert reporting.
  • The BDSI team will retrofit the existing equipment with next generation technology that will provide maximum performance monitoring (to include remote locations).  This plan is intended to increase equipment efficiency and performance using the next generation hardware/software combinations to maximize performance.  This program will have a retrofit and installation fee as well as give the customer the option to monitor their own equipment, or use the BDSI monitoring team for a monthly subscription fee.

By designing a CBM for the customer, the BDSI team will integrate and manage all relevant data and give the customer data management capabilities that consolidate data sources from multiple metering, monitoring and surveillance systems into a big-picture view of performance across all operations. The BDSI offering will ensure this data is easy to access and understood by personnel operating at the tactical level.

The BDSI solution gives customers the ability to explore historical, real-time and right-time data and spot trends that could provide early warning of possible issues. Solutions should also support early warning alerts that can be sent automatically to the appropriate person for intervention, via emails, applications on smart phones, text messages, etc.  BDSI can assist with monitoring this information or provide any level of support for the end user should they decide to devote internal resources to monitoring this activity in-house.
