Alan, Chief Marketing Officer, has a background in Sales/Marketing and Operations.  Alan has over 18 years of experience in leadership roles as a Company Commander in the United States Marine Corps, an AVP of Sales & Marketing for a start-up short line tractor distributorship, and as a Regional Operations Manager for a material handling and construction equipment dealer.   In his most current role with a very large construction and material handling dealer, Alan is responsible for the day to day operations and the P&L for all aftermarket activities in his region, which includes, the company’s second largest branch.  Alan oversees $40 million in annual revenue and consistently produces over 10% in net earnings.  In addition to managing regional operations, Alan also leads the aftermarket sales force and directs all aspects of the branches account management functions.  These functions include managing customer equipment fleets through detailed reporting which provides insight to their cost of ownership.  Alan focuses on value by reducing customer cost through increasing parts fill rates, technician productivity, managing in-depth preventive maintenance programs, and delivering quality corrective maintenance.  He has a solid grasp of inventory control, work in process, account balancing, and asset management.  Mr. Altom holds a Bachelors Degree in Sociology from the University of Arkansas and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the Sam M. Walton School of Business at the University of Arkansas.

Bill Duncan

Chief Operating Officer

Bill, Chief Operating Officer, will serve as the managing partner for the Denver location.  Bill has over 24 years of process implementation and management experience. He started his management career leading teams for United Parcel Service at the Denver UPS hub. This leadership experience complimented his time as a Marine Officer and AV-8B Harrier Pilot. During his 25 years of military service, he held multiple management positions requiring detailed planning and exceptional leadership. He directed maintenance, quality assurance and operational efforts for 29 AV-8B Harrier Aircraft worth $870 million. In addition, he supervised daily operations of cross-functional teams of up to 200; generated detailed reports on status of and recommendations for technical operational programs. A veteran of three wars, Bill planned and flew over 30 multi-aircraft combat missions and has accumulated 24 years of military service. In his current role, Bill is a Space Operations Officer and the Director of a Joint Space Intelligence Unit attached to U.S. Strategic Command.  Since leaving active duty, Bill has been successful as a small business owner, airline pilot, corporate pilot, and is currently a manager of operations for an oil and gas consulting firm. Mr. Duncan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management from Metropolitan State College of Denver.

Greg Zackney

President

Greg, President, has over 20 years of professional dynamic decision making and international leadership skills combined with senior management experience in both austere and conventional settings.  He was most recently the Senior Director of Operations for ATP CASS (an aviation software solutions group), where he was responsible for the development of all marketing, sales, and support teams through client capture strategies, strategic business intelligence/requirements, and the adherence to strategic business plans.  Greg was also the Senior Program Manager for the company’s software solutions and was responsible for ensuring all technical requirements were adequately incorporated into the software.  Previously, he was the Director of Operations and was responsible for assuring the timely delivery of services and commitments in support of service offerings, including proactive problem solving, timely remediation of deficiencies and defects, client complaints (including enablement of required corrective actions).  He spent twelve years as an AV-8B Harrier Pilot for the United States Marine Corps and currently has over 21 years combined time as a Reservist.  Mr. Zackney holds a Bachelor’s degree in Managerial Economics from the University of California at Davis, and a Masters Degree in Global Leadership and Project Management from the University of San Diego School of Business.
